You know, I tell you good people the obvious. . .that the Vikings getting crushed by an opponent on Monday night in front of the entire country should be enough to get them moved down significantly in various Power Rankings around the league. Then, as soon as I start bringing you the results, these places set out to try to make a liar out of me.
This time, it’s ESPN. After having Minnesota at number 26 last week after they got thumped by the New York Giants, the four-letter has apparently decided that getting smashed by the Chicago Bears on your home turf is worth a two-spot rise in the Power Rankings, as they’ve moved the Vikings up to number 24 this week.
The commentary, once again, focuses on the obvious. . .so I’m right on that front so far.
Monday’s surprise entrance and quick exit against the Bears was bizarre, even by Brett Favre’s standards.
No, in an ordinary season, it would be bizarre. . .in the 2010 Minnesota Vikings’ season? It’s not even a blip on the radar.
