Detroit Lions 20, Minnesota Vikings 10 - Detroit Recaptures Momentum

Stay connected for news and updates

The Vikings had gotten the momentum on their side after cutting the Detroit lead to 3, but the Lions ave apparently realized that the Vikings are employing Frank Walker at cornerback.

Walker got absolutely abused by the Lions on two plays on the drive. . .Detroit started off with a 33-yard pass to Nate Burleson right over Walker’s head, and later in the drive hit a 23-yarder to Bryant Johnson over Walker as well. The latter play looked like it could have been overturned, as Leslie Frazier challenged that Johnson’s knee came down out of bounds before his elbow touched down in bounds, but the referees did not overturn the call. Maurice Morris walked in from five yards out for a touchdown on the next play.

With less than 10 minutes left in the Minnesota Vikings’ season, they trail the Detroit Lions 20-10.
