For more news on Adrian Peterson and the rest of his Minnesota Vikings' teammates, be sure to keep an eye on The Daily Norseman.

The Minnesota Vikings got themselves quite a scare on Sunday afternoon against the Oakland Raiders when this happened.

Peterson ended up needing to be helped off of the field, and it looked to be a pretty bad injury for the star running back. However, he came back in the second half and stood on the sidelines, though he never actually re-entered the football game.

Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500 in the Twin Cities has just reported what Vikings fans should regard as pretty good news.

Per Leslie Frazier, Adrian Peterson has a sprain and X-ray showed no fracture. They'll do an MRI to check for further damage. #Vikings
