Lions At Vikings: And We Are Tied At 20

Stay connected for news and updates

The Minnesota Vikings got off to a fast start against the Detroit Lions by scoring the first 20 points of the game.

Unfortunately, in a script that is becoming all too familiar, the Lions have scored the last 20.

So, the game at the Metrodome is tied at 20 points each.

It could have been worse, but a great defensive play on third down by Chris Cook against Calvin Johnson kept the ball out of Megatron's hands and forced the Lions to settle for a 50-yard Jason Hanson field goal.

The Vikings have now been outscored 61-3 in the second half of their three games this season after outscoring their opponents 54-7 in the first half.

The Vikings have the ball near their own 20 with approximately five minutes left in the football game, and the score is tied at 20.

Keep it tuned right here to keep up with all of the action!
