Geoff Burke-US PRESSWIRE

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin sat out Thursday's practice because of non-injury related reasons after being limited on Wednesday with a sore hamstring.

The Minnesota Vikings were without wide receiver Percy Harvin at practice on Thursday. Harvin missed practice to tend to a family issue, and his absence was not related to the hamstring injury that caused him to be limited at Wednesday's practice.

Tight end John Carlson (concussion) was the only other Viking to not participate in Thursday's practice.

Running back Adrian Peterson (ankle), safety Mistral Raymond (ankle) and cornerback Antoine Winfield (knee) were all limited at practice. Peterson has often been limited or out of practice since spraining his ankle in Week 5, but he says he is getting better. Raymond has not played since injuring his ankle in Week 2.

Quarterback Christian Ponder (knee), punter Chris Kluwe (knee), defensive tackle Fred Evans (knee), defensive tackle Letroy Guion (ribs) and linebacker Erin Henderson (elbow) all fully participated in practice. Linebacker Tyrone McKenzie returned to practice after missing Wednesday for non-injury related reasons.
