Vikings At Seahawks: Adrian Peterson Does It Again

This Adrian Peterson fellow is really, really good. It's kind of sad that the Minnesota Vikings forget that at times.

After the Seattle Seahawks took a 14-7 lead over the Vikings, Minnesota embarked on a drive from their own 20-yard line. Christian Ponder had a couple of nice passes, one to Michael Jenkins to convert a third down, and another to Jerome Simpson to get the Vikings to midfield as the first quarter came to an end.

After the quarter break, Ponder attempted to hit Percy Harvin on a long third down pass. The pass fell incomplete, but a flag was thrown on Marcus Trufant for pass interference because he never turned around to look for the ball. After that, Ponder found tight end Allen Reisner to give the Vikings first-and-goal at the 6-yard line. Two plays later, Peterson found the end zone for a 4-yard touchdown run. Blair Walsh added the extra point, and the score was again tied at 14.

Peterson already has 105 yards in this game on 10 carries to go along with his two touchdowns. It's the 31st time as a member of the Minnesota Vikings that Peterson has gone over the 100-yard mark in a game.

With 11:46 remaining until halftime, the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks are tied at 14 in the Pacific Northwest.
