The Minnesota Vikings will take on the Houston Texans on Sunday, as they hunt for a playoff berth in the NFC. At 8-6, they're feeling good, but quarterback Christian Ponder has another reason for that: he's recently married.

According to the Leader-Telegram, Ponder tied the knot with Samanta Steele late Monday afternoon in St. Croix County Court. Steele is known for being an ESPN reporter, and the two reportedly met early in 2012 on the set of ESPN's "College GameDay" program.

Ponder confirmed in October that the two were dating.

Steele took to Twitter to ... "thank" her followers, to some degree. Being that this is the Internet, she presumably was bombarded with a lot of Tweets from people implying she is pregnant and a lot of people suggesting that the marriage won't last. She responded with "Twitter is so tricky. Who knew that "she's pregnant" & "they'll be divorced soon" are just the 2012 version of "congrats"! Thx guys! :)"
