Percy Harvin tweeted Monday that he needs shoulder surgery and will be out a few weeks. He says he will be back in time for OTAs.
This might come as sort of a surprise for Minnesota Vikings fans, as their best offensive weapon not named Adrian Peterson, who himself is recovering from ACL surgery, will be needing shoulder surgery.
Percy Harvin tweeted the news on Monday:
Just found out I will need surgery on shoulder

If you're wondering how long Harvin will be out, he answered that question with his next tweet:
Recovery should be quick I will be ready for otas

If Harvin is expecting to be back by Organized Team Activities (OTAs), it doesn't sound like it's too serious of an injury. NFL reporter Jason La Canfora said that the procedure was merely a clean up and he'll only be out a few weeks.
