Adrian Peterson may have hurt his knee last year, but he's still an option as a first running back in fantasy football.
Adrian Peterson is no longer the sure-fire first-overall pick he was after his rookie season, but the Vikings' running back is still one of the best the NFL has to offer at the position, despite his ACL surgery last season.
Fake Teams didn't have him in Tier 1 in their Fantasy Football running back rankings. In fact, they listed Peterson in their third tier, No. 11 at the position, as the 26-year-old's play might not be up to par following his injury last year.
Their summary of Peterson is not news to any Vikings fans:
He's not human. I'm surprised I haven't heard about a parody A.D. Twitter account that's similar to @CyborgHanson48.
Peterson's backup, Toby Gerhart, cracked the list at No. 42 as a potential bench running back, considering Peterson's
Adrian Peterson's status is still up in the air. Toby Gerhart would get the bulk of the carries in the early going and would be a nice flex option at worst. The Vikings get the Jaguars and Colts for the first two weeks.
