With one big run, running back Jordan Todman may have earned himself a roster spot.

In Thursday's preseason loss to the Texas, Todman finished with 114 yards on 10 carries, including a 76-yard touchdown run that had people talking.

From the Pioneer Press:

"Some of his teammates were talking about just that, saying, 'Man, coach, that running back position just got a lot more competitive,'" said coach Leslie Frazier about what he heard from the sideline.

Todman also caught five passes for 21 yards. He missed most of camp with an ankle injury and appeared to be on the way out, but his big day Thursday has mixed things up a bit.

Toby Gerhart, Lex Hilliard and Matt Asiata are also in the mix at the running back position.
