The Minnesota Vikings are on the comeback trail, but it might be too little, too late.

The Vikings forced a three-and-out from the Colts, and started at their own 46-yard line. Minnesota, slowly but surely, made their way down the field, and pushed into the Indianapolis red zone. Eventually, the Vikings faced fourth-and-four on the Indianapolis 7-yard line.

Christian Ponder took the shotgun snap and moved to his right. He fired a pass to Kyle Rudolph in the end zone, but the ball was deflected by a defensive lineman, and off of Rudolph's hands as well. . .

. . .right into the hands of Minnesota receiver Stephen Burton, who pulled the ball in for his first career National Football League touchdown reception. It was a seven-yard reception when it was all said and done, and it cut the Indianapolis lead was cut to 20-13.

The Colts have the ball at their own 20 on the ensuing possession, and the Vikings need to get a stop here to hang onto hope of winning.
