Vikings Cuts: 4 Players Have Already Found Jobs Elsewhere

Stay connected for news and updates

Just days after being cut by the Minnesota Vikings, four players have caught on with new teams. Halfback Lex Hilliard, who was cut Aug. 31 after failing to win the third-string running back job, has been signed by the New England Patriots.

Guard Chris DeGeare, who was also waived on Aug. 31 despite starting a handful of games for the team in 2010 and spending 2011 on the team's practice squad, has been added to the practice squad of the Tennessee Titans.

Wide receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux, also among the last round of cuts, has been picked up by the Washington Redskins. Arceneaux was signed before the 2011 season by the Vikings out of the Canadian Football League, but did not contribute significantly.

Finally, guard Quentin Saulsberry, a rookie free agent signee who started the Vikings' exhibition finale against Houston, has caught on with the Denver Broncos' practice squad.

For more on the Vikings, keep an eye on Daily Norseman and SB Nation Minnesota.
