The Minnesota Vikings will have some pretty easy decisions with their inactive list for Sunday's season-opening game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the seven players stuck on the sidelines won't all be no-brainers.
The Vikings have five players who will likely be included on the inactive list, according to the Pioneer Press, due to injury and inexperience.
Three players with ankle injuries -- receiver Jarius Wright, linebacker Marvin Mitchell and safety Andrew Sendejo -- did not practice Friday and are doubtful for the game. Last week's two new acquisitions, cornerback A.J. Jefferson and offensive lineman Mark Asper, still are learning the scheme and probably won't be ready.
The remainder of that list will like include McLeod Bethel-Thompson -- the team's third quarterback -- and someone still to be decided. Whether that seventh player is going to be Adrian Peterson will be a game-time decision.
