The field goal exchange continues in Minneapolis, as Josh Scobee has put the Jacksonville Jaguars on the board again, pulling the Jaguars to within two points of the Minnesota Vikings at 17-15.

Jacksonville started at their own 20-yard line, and moved the ball 51 yards in ten plays to get into Minnesota territory. The Jacksonville drive was aided by a somewhat questionable personal foul penalty on Letroy Guion on a play where the Vikings sacked Jacksonville quarterback Blaine Gabbert. Gabbert was down, and Guion fell on top of him to down him for the sack. . .or so he thought. However, the officials deemed that Gabbert was already down, and that Guion's hit was late.

The Jaguars' drive eventually stalled, and Scobee drilled a field goal from 47 yards out to make the score 17-15.

The Vikings are taking over at their own 20-yard line after a touchback. With 9:35 left in the 2012 NFL season opener, the Minnesota Vikings hold a slim lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars, 17-15.
