The Minnesota Wild are riding hot, picking up their third straight win on Thursday with their 1-0 shutout of the Colorado Avalanche, courtesy of Devin Setoguchi in the final period. Minnesota's other two wins were over the Blue Jackets and the Ducks, which came after a slight two-game skid. The Wild just kicked off a six-game homestand at the Xcel Energy Center with their win over Colorado, and next will play host to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.

Furthering the homestand to a 2-0 start will prove to be difficult, though. The Blues are winners in four of their last five games, and are currently on a three-game winning streak. This streak includes a shutout win over the Tampa Bay Lightning, a 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings and a 4-1 win in their last outing on Thursday against the Florida Panthers.

St. Louis is outscoring their opponents 14-5 in their last five outings. Their radical turnaround can be attributed to head coach Ken Hitchcock, who was hired less than two weeks ago after Davis Payne was fired. St. Louis has gone 4-0-1 under Hitchcock, and will be a big test for the Wild. Fortunately for Minnesota, their wins have come at home, and Hitchcock is essentially untested on the road at the helm of St. Louis.

The Wild are looking for their fourth-straight home win, and boast a 6-2-1 record at home on the season. The game is set for Saturday at 8:00 p.m. eastern.
