Wild Vs. Blue Jackets Final Score: Minnesota Falls To Columbus, 3-1

In mid-December, the Minnesota Wild were the NHL's best team at 20-7-3. Since then, they are 5-15-5 and sit two points entirely out of the playoff picture after losing to the NHL's worst team, 3-1, for the second time this week.

R.J. Umberger scored twice for the Columbus Blue Jackets, including one on the power play with 21 seconds left in the second period to give the Blue Jackets a 2-1 lead going into the final frame.

Columbus put the game away with an empty netter at the 19:11 mark by James Wisniewski. Minnesota outshot Columbus 35-19, but Steve Mason was stellar in his first game since January 31.

The Wild have to feel like they are in full desperation mode, but they play the Anaheim Ducks, who only have 51 points, on Tuesday.
