Wild At Stars: Minnesota Takes On Dallas In Western Conference Clash

The Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars are both chasing the eighth spot in the Western Conference as things stand today, and the two teams will do battle in the Lone Star State on Saturday night.

Right now, the Wild hold the eighth spot in the conference, with 57 points coming from the strength of a record of 25-19-7. The Stars are just two spots and three points behind them, with their 54 points coming from a 26-22-2 record.

This is the second meeting of the year between the Wild and the Stars. On January 21, the Stars came to the XCel Energy Center, and the Wild took it to them, emerging with a 5-2 victory on the strength of three goals in a 59 second span.
