Wild Vs. Canucks Final Score: Josh Harding Stops 33 Shots In Minnesota's 2-0 Win

The Minnesota Wild are likely going to be on the outside looking in for the playoffs after being the hottest team in the NHL in December, but they held on to mathematical hope by taking care of the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night, 2-0.

In their best win in months and first win period since March 8, Wild goaltender Josh Harding prevented 33 shots from lighting the lamp for his 10th win of the season. It was Harding's first action since that March 8 win and was his first win since January 21.

The Wild got on the scoreboard late in the first period thanks to the stick of Erik Christensen and that would be the only support Harding would need to get Minnesota to the 70-point mark.

Minnesota's 13 points and five teams behind the No. 8 spot with 12 games remaining. They close out their five-game homestand on Thursday against the Flames.
