Wild Vs. Sabres Final: Ryan Miller, Buffalo Prevail 3-1

The Minnesota Wild dropped to two games below .500 on the season after falling to the red-hot Buffalo Sabres on Saturday. The loss further complicates the Wild's chances for a playoff spot in the Western Conference as the chase for the postseason continues to heat up with only a handful of games remaining.

Defenseman Steven Kampfer opened the scoring with his second goal of the season in the first period to give the Wild a 1-0 advantage, but Minnesota was unable to beat elite goalie Ryan Miller a second time. Miller finished with 24 saves on 25 shots and was in top form as usual.

Since laying claim to the NHL's best record on December 10th, Minnesota has gone an abysmal 11-26-7 over its last 44 games, and is now in serious jeopardy of whiffing completely on the postseason. The Wild have to travel to the nation's capital to play a dangerous Washington team on Sunday, so it's possible that this unbelievable fall from grace might just continue.
