As expected, 25-year old left wing Guillaume Latendresse will be leaving the Minnesota Wild in free agency. Sunday evening it was announced that Latendresse had signed a one-year deal with the Ottawa Senators for just over $1 million:

The oft-injured forward signed a $1.25 million, one-year deal after becoming a free agent Sunday. Latendresse played 27 games combined over the past two seasons with the Minnesota Wild, scoring eight goals and 15 points.

Last season was a rough one for the left-winger, as he missed a total of 50 games due to a concussion. He does have 81 career goals in just over 300 career games, showing he can be an effective scorer when healthy.
