The Minnesota Vikings stadium issue is a big one, to be certain, but it's kind of difficult to put everything into perspective. Fans of the team did just that on Monday afternoon, however, as they rallied at the state capitol in hopes of getting the legislature to approve a new deal.
If the Vikings' new stadium isn't going to be built in Ramsey County, the team likely isn't going to contribute as much to the project.
If this doesn't scare you, then you truly have nerves of steel.
At least one Minnesotan realizes that it would be a big deal if the Vikings left the state.
The University of Minnesota has made it known that they would likely work out an arrangement with the Vikings to play at TCF Bank Stadium should the Metrodome be unavailable.
The Minnesota Vikings will pay for 1/3 of the cost of a new stadium. They will NOT pay for a roof. Could this present a problem?
