Minnesota Vikings players voted unanimously to decertify the NFL Players Association if the owners attempt to lock the players out next season.
↵Decertification of the union would allow the NFL players to dissolve the union and sue the owners using anti-trust rules if the owners attempt to lock the players out. The current collective bargaining agreement expires on March 1, 2011.
↵The last time this strategy was used was back in the early 1990s, and it resulted in the players getting expanded free agency rights.
