Williams Wall Case Could Go To Supreme Court

The National Football League could learn as early as next week whether or not the United States Supreme Court will review the ruling that has allowed Vikings defensive tackles Pat Williams and Kevin Williams to sue the league as the result of their bogus drug tests from back in 2008.

Although, if I were the league, I wouldn’t exactly get my hopes up.

It is fourth down and long for the NFL, which faces tough odds to have its case heard. Of the 8,000 applications the Supreme Court typically receives each year, only about 100 get a hearing.

The justices were meeting today to decide whether or not to take the NFL’s case.
