Junior guard Devoe Joseph has been suspended indefinitely by Minnesota head coach Tubby Smith for an unspecified violation of team rules.
↵↵↵“He had some off-the-court issues and some other things we had to deal with,” Smith told Myron P. Medcalf of the Minnesota [sic] Star Tribune last week. "And he’s working his way through it. Hopefully he’ll do all the things required of him to get back in good grace. He’ll be practising [sic], but he won’t be traveling.

Well, I guess as long as he’s “practising,” it’s not all bad. Yeesh.
↵Joseph has missed the Gophers’ first two games (both victories), and will not make the trip to Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Tipoff.
