NHL Power Rankings: Wild Again Mediocre

The Wild have held their ground, the problem being that the ground they are so entrenched in is in a land called "Mediocrity." This land provides few benefits, and is not a pleasant place to be. Don't believe me? We'll show you the "expert" opinions on where the Wild rank in regards to the other NHL teams as we walk through the NHL power rankings from around the league.

Don't worry. You won't need a seat belt, it's not a very bumpy ride.

Let's start with CBSSports.com, where the Wild rank 17th out of 30 teams. CBS doesn't have much to say about the team:

A little more offense at even strength would help, but the PP is getting it done with the league's best success rate.

A little more offense? Understatement of the year. The Wild have next to no offense, and are relying heavily on goaltender Niklas Backstrom. While he is an elite level goalie, eventually they will need to support him.

Stay tuned for more NHL Power Rankings throughout the day.
