Patrick Reusse of the Minnesota Star-Tribune has been giving out his “Turkey of the Year” award for nearly as long as your humble webmaster here has been alive. Since it is the Thanksgiving holiday, it is that time once again, and this year he had no shortage of candidates. But, in the end, he went with one of the more obvious choices.↵
Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback Brett Favre was named Reusse’s “Turkey of the Year” for 2010. According to Reusse,↵
Never has one legend done so much, on and off field, to destroy a promising team as has the Grey Ego.↵
We can debate all day if Favre was single-handedly responsible for the demise of the 2010 Minnesota Vikings (he wasn’t), but since this award is given by a committee of one, Reusse pretty much gets the final word on this. Reusse did say that this was the “easiest choice in 33 years.”↵
So there you go. . .do you agree or disagree with Reusse’s choice?
