Morneau Declares He'll Be Ready For Spring Training

“There’s not a doubt in my mind I’ll be ready for spring, especially with what I’ve done this week and how it’s reacted and how I’ve felt,” Morneau said. “That’s something that hasn’t even crossed my mind.”

The Twins could have used him in their lineup in the post-season. . .Morneau played only 80 of the Twins’ 162 games, yet still managed to finish fourth on the team in home runs with 18.
