Hockey is a dangerous game - but Gopher hockey forward Zach Budish doesn't seem to have problems on skates. It's when he's not on the ice that he just can't stay healthy. Budish, who missed his senior hockey season at Edina after tearing his ACL during the football playoffs, has torn his other ACL - in a moped accident. The Western College Hockey Blog says Budish will have to decide whether to try to rehab the injury - or just have season-ending surgery.

If he missed the rest of the season, Budish could be given a redshirt to stay at Minnesota for a fifth season, though again, taking into account his future pro potential, a fifth year would likely be a moot point.

No decision has yet been announced, but it's an injury blow for the Gophers as they take on heated rival Wisconsin this weekend.
