Brett Favre Makes Personal History In Viking Victory

Brett Favre’s been in the NFL for a really long time now, which makes one of the numbers to come out of Minnesota’s win over the Arizona Cardinals yesterday that much more amazing.

The Minnesota Vikings quarterback set a career-high yesterday for passing yardage in a game with 442 yards through the air. It was only the second time in his career that he has broken the 400-yard passing plateau. The last time he did it was back on 5 December 1993 against the Chicago Bears.

To put that into perspective, Percy Harvin. . .who led the Vikings in receiving yesterday. . .was five years old the last time Favre threw for 400 yards in a game.
