Today, the United States Supreme Court said that they were refusing to hear an appeal from the National Football League in their battle against Vikings’ defensive tackles Pat Williams and Kevin Williams in a legal battle that has been raging for two calendar years now.
↵The Supreme Court said that they would not stop Minnesota courts from getting involved in the case that says that Pat and Kevin Williams violated the NFL’s substance abuse policy when they tested positive for bumetanide, a substance that was put into the weight loss supplement StarCaps while not being put on the label.
↵A hearing has been scheduled for 17 November as to whether or not to make the temporary injunction the Williams Wall has against the league that has kept them from getting suspended a permanent one. We’ll definitely be keeping our eyes open for that verdict.
