Week 10 NFL Power Rankings Roundup: Minnesota Vikings Still Languish Near Bottom Of Many Polls

Today is Tuesday, and with all of the Week Nine NFL games in the books, this is when most sites will start releasing their "Power Rankings' to determine where, exactly, they feel each team sits in the NFL hierarchy.

Having gone into the week at 2-5, many folks had the Minnesota Vikings exactly where they belonged. . .at the bottom of the list. How do most of them view the Vikings' dramatic victory over the Arizona Cardinals?

Well, if we start with the mothership, over at SBNation.com. . .apparently they don't think much of it at all. In their rankings, the Vikings came in at number 24 last week, and this week have risen all the way to. . .number 24. Wait, that's not really a rise at all, is it?

Well, well, well. Just when I think the Vikings are dead. They have the talent to go on a serious run but they haven't done it to this point. We'll see if they can save Brad Childress' season.

Meanwhile, the rankings of the other NFC North teams are equally baffling. The Chicago Bears managed to squeak out a victory over the Buffalo Bills, yet actually managed to drop a spot in the rankings from 17th to 18th. Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers got a blowout victory over a Dallas Cowboys team that quit playing serious football three weeks ago, and have been declared the second best team in the NFL by SBNation.com, which is ludicrous at best. The Packers aren't even the second best team in the NFC, let alone the second best team in the NFL.

We'll continue to update this post with more power rankings as the afternoon progresses.
