Week 15 NFL Power Rankings: Look Out Below!

Well, when you go out and look as lethargic as the Vikings looked on Monday night against the New York Giants, it shows that you're a team that doesn't belong in the conversation of the best teams in the league. With the Vikings now having been officially eliminated from post-season contention, the focus will now turn towards what this team has for 2011, as well as the 2011 NFL Draft.

However, we still have some time left in this season. . .and, as long as there is time remaining this year, there will be Power Rankings. So, let's see exactly where the Vikings are sitting in this week's polls, shall we?

As always, we'll start with the mothership at SBNation.com. The folks at the top actually moved the Vikings up a bit last week while everyone else was sort of middling with them, but this week the Vikings drop two spots in the SBNation polls from number 24 down to number 26.

Brett Favre's consecutive games streak is over which will overshadow the Vikings getting spanked by the Giants.

Yes, they're probably right on that. . .the Vikings have nothing left to play for this season, and the Favre saga has been bigger than the team for most of the year anyway, with the laundry list of injuries that Favre has received over the past few months.
