Forbes Magazine Rates Wild As Fourteenth Most Valuable NHL Franchise

The folks at Forbes Magazine have released their valuations of the National Hockey League franchises, and the Minnesota Wild rank right in the middle of the pack, being named as the 14th-highest valued franchise in the NHL.

Forbes values the Wild at approximately $202 million. . .which is pretty good, unless you’re Craig Leipold and Philip Falcone, who bought the Wild in 2008 at a price of $225 million.

Forbes has the Toronto Maple Leafs as the most valuable franchise in the NHL, with a value of $505 million dollars. The Phoenix Coyotes are the least valuable, with a value of “only” $134 million. You can see the entire list at Forbes’ website.
