More Observations from Mini Camp

Kevin Seifert from ESPN.com has some more observations from the Vikings' mini-camp that don't revolve around Adrian Peterson. I won't list them all, but here are a couple that I found interesting:

-Percy Harvin showed up to camp weighing 205 pounds, according to him.  At this time last year, Harvin weighed in at about 188.  However, from the way the weight was distributed, it doesn't appear he's just been sitting on the couch eating potato chips all off-season.  Harvin says he's planning on reporting to camp at around 200 pounds.  Sidney Rice has also put on seven or eight pounds of upper body muscle

-E.J. Henderson was going through individual drills today.  Seifert says he was going through them "slowly and deliberately," but for a guy who had his femur completely crushed a little less than seven months ago, that's pretty darn impressive.  He's still a long shot to be ready for the season opener, but his rehab is way ahead of schedule.

-Steve Hutchinson, who had shoulder surgery this off-season, didn't participate in any of the practice after stretching with the rest of the team.  Ryan Cook played his position during the team drill portion of the afternoon.  Rookie CB Chris Cook and LB Chad Greenway also didn't participate, though Brad Childress wasn't completely sure of the reason for Greenway's absence.  Erin Henderson replaced Greenway during team drills.
