Webb Getting Second-Team Reps at QB?

According to Access Vikings, there's been a bit of a surprise in the quarterback rotation at Winter Park over the past few days.

While Brett Favre has been absent, Tarvaris Jackson has been taking the snaps with the first team at quarterback. . .that shouldn't surprise anyone.  What is surprising, however, is that the majority of snaps with the twos have gone to rookie sixth-round pick Joe Webb.  Yes, the same Joe Webb that was rumored to have been moving to wide receiver right after he got drafted.  The coaches are apparently very impressed with Webb's work ethic and his presence, and as a result have turned Sage Rosenfels into a spectator for the better part of the past couple of days.

One can't be entirely sure what this means for Rosenfels' future, but if the Vikings don't feel that they can slip Webb onto the practice squad. . .a mistake that they made with Tyler Thigpen a couple of seasons ago. . .and want him to play quarterback instead of wide receiver, Rosenfels may find himself as the odd man out after Brett Favre's inevitable return to the team.
