↵The Minnesota Twins announced today they have surpassed the 3 million tickets sold mark for the 2010 inaugural season at their new ballpark, Target Field.
↵If all the tickets (Target Field seats 39,506) sold for all 81 home games, the total attendance would be 3,199,186. Currently, the Twins are averaging just over 39,000 a game, which places them sixth amongst MLB teams this season.
↵The current record for Twins' season attendance stands at 3,030,672. That record was set in 1988, the year after the Twins won their first World Series.
