Minnesota Twins’ first baseman Justin Morneau, who has missed the first two games of this weekend’s series against the Detroit Tigers and will miss today’s game as well, has pulled out of participating in this Tuesday’s All-Star Game.
↵Morneau suffered the concussion on Wednesday when he was hit in the head by a take-out slide.
↵Paul Konerko of the White Sox will replace Morneau on the AL roster, and Miguel Cabrera of Detroit will take his spot in the starting lineup.
