As the Minnesota Twins kick off their second half schedule tonight, they’ll do so trailing the Chicago White Sox by 3.5 games in the American League Central.
↵The Twins will have a chance to gain ground from the start though, with a four-game series against the White Sox at Target Field being their first action out of the break.
↵After the Twins face the Sox, the schedule will lighten up over the course of the next two weeks with no games scheduled against teams above the .500 mark.
↵Take a look at their next 17 games:
↵↵↵4 – Chicago White Sox (49-38)
↵
3 – Cleveland Indians (34-54)
4 – Baltimore Orioles (29-59)
3 – Kansas City Royals (39-49)
3 – Seattle Mariners (35-53)
If the Twins want to win the division for the sixth time in ten seasons, their time to get started is now.
