Twins In A Position To Make A Move

After the Chicago White Sox gagged against the Twins this afternoon at Target Field, the Twins find themselves just 1.5 games out of first place in the American League Central, and are in pretty good position to make a move back to the top of the division.

The next 13 games for Minnesota look like this:

↵

-Three games against the Cleveland Indians (38-54) at Target Field
↵-A seven game road trip that includes four games at Baltimore (29-62) and three at Kansas City (39-53)
↵-Three games at home against Seattle (36-56)

↵

Yes, the Twins will play their next 13 games against the four worst teams in the American League. One would have to think that they can’t help but make up ground over the course of the next couple of weeks.

Between the easing of the schedule and the trading deadline, it’s going to be an interesting next couple of weeks in Minnesota.

We here at SBNation Minnesota would like to thank the Chicago White Sox for allowing the Twins to rise from the dead this weekend.
