The Minnesota Twins are among the teams that is said to have expressed interest in Houston Astros’ starting pitcher Roy Oswalt, according to the Houston Chronicle.
↵The St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies are potential trade partners for the Astros as well.
↵Oswalt (6-11, 3.12 ERA) has apparently told teams wishing to deal for him that he wants his 2012 option. . .a cool $16 million. . .to be picked up before he’ll accept any trade. As Oswalt has a full no-trade cause in his contract, he would have to sign off on any deal the Astros would make for him.
