Webb Signs Contract With Vikings

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that sixth-round pick Joe Webb has agreed to a contract with the Minnesota Vikings.

Webb, a quarterback out of the University of Alabama-Birmingham, was originally drafted by the Vikings with the intention of moving to wide receiver. However, he was impressive enough in mini-camps this summer that the coaching staff decided to keep him behind center.

Terms of Webb’s deal have not yet been made available.
