Shortstop J.J. Hardy Healthy, Will Return Today

After missing nearly one full month, shortstop J.J. Hardy will be reinstated from the disabled list prior to this afternoon’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Hardy played in three games for the Beloit Snappers, going 2-for-10. The numbers in this case are irrelevant however; Hardy’s wrist feels healthy, and he’ll finally be back in the lineup.

The team will make a corresponding roster move before today’s game to make room for Hardy. With a sore middle finger on his right hand, utility infielder Matt Tolbert could possibly head to the disabled list.
