ESPN The Magazine: Where Minnesota Ranks

ESPN The Magazine last week released their Ultimate Standings, a now eight-year series that ranks all professional teams from the MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL, a total of 122 teams. The overall rankings are based on additional results in sections including Bang for the Buck, Fan Relations, Ownership, Affordability, Stadium Experience, Players, Coaching and Title Track.

This year, Minnesota's four teams stacked up as follows:

No. 14 - Minnesota Twins

↵

No. 59 - Minnesota Vikings

↵

No. 78 - Minnesota Wild

↵

No. 116 - Minnesota Timberwolves

While the Vikings' ranking seems somewhat low, it looks to be in large part due to their stadium experience, where they ranked at No. 118. Meanwhile, the Twins jumped from No. 114 in that category a year ago to No. 1 this year with the addition of Target Field while the Wild also did well coming in at No. 3.
