The Minnesota Lynx held up their end of the bargain on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough for them to punch their ticket to the WNBA playoffs.
↵The Lynx upended the Indiana Fever 83-79 in overtime on Sunday afternoon, but fell out of the race for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference as the San Antonio Silver Stars completed a 3-point play with 0.9 seconds left to edge the Phoenix Mercury 83-82 and wrap up the WNBA’s final playoff spot.
↵Despite almost qualifying for the postseason, the Lynx’s 13-21 record was tied for the second-worst in the league with Los Angeles. Only the Tulsa Shock (6-28) had a worse overall record.
