The NHL has released its 2010-2011 season schedule, and the Minnesota Wild's slate looks quite a bit different than everyone else’s.
↵The Wild are going to start off the season not in the comfy confines of the XCel Energy Center, but in Helsinki, Finland playing two games against the Carolina Hurricanes on Oct. 7 and 8. The home opener will take place on Oct. 14, as the Wild will play host to the Edmonton Oilers. That’s part of a three-game homestand that will also see visits from the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Vancouver Canucks.
↵We’ll have a closer look at the Wild’s schedule in the very near future.
