Percy Harvin didn’t participate in Thursday’s practice at the Metrodome, leaving his status for Saturday’s game against Seattle in doubt according to Tom Pelissero.
“He really didn’t practice (Wednesday),” Childress said. "He stood there with his pads and helmet on, just to kind of (get used to) his pads and caught a couple footballs. … That’s really the extent of what he did aside from stretching.
“He’s got another test he’s got to accomplish here before he’s cleared to play.”
Interestingly, Childress says that “test” encompasses more than just the migraine issues.
Asked if the tests Harvin has been undergoing are specific to his ongoing migraine problems, Childress said, “They’re not specific to that. Kind of all-encompassing.”
At least it still is just the preseason.
