Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista and Minnesota Twins outfielder Delmon Young each earned American League Player of the Month honors for July.
↵Young hit a scorching .434 with 12 doubles, six homers and 30 RBI in July. He had 16 multi-hit performances, including a pair of four-hit games in a three- game span from July 24-26.
It’s was both players’ first career monthly award.
