At age nine, Madieu Williams and his family moved from their native Sierra Leone to the United States. After becoming a starting safety in the National Football League, he has proven that he’s never forgotten where he came from.
↵Williams made a $2 million donation last year to the University of Maryland to establish the Madieu Williams Center for Global Health Initiatives.
↵To learn more about the Madieu Williams Foundation, or to make a donation, you can check out its website here.
↵How great is it to see anyone, particularly a member of the Minnesota Vikings, doing something like this?
