Cornhuskers At Gophers: Minnesota Now Finds Themselves Down 27-0

If Benny Hill were still alive and his show was still on the air, the Minnesota Golden Gophers would be his kind of team.

After holding Nebraska to a field goal on the previous possession, the Gophers got the ball back and started with a fake handoff by MarQueis Gray on what turned into a quarterback keeper. Unfortunately, Gray declined to take the ball with him after faking the handoff, and after the ball bounce around for a while, it was picked up by Nebraska's Austin Cassidy, who took the ball into the end zone from 11 yards out for a score for the Cornhuskers.

With nine minutes remaining in the first half of this one, the Minnesota Golden Gophers are down 27-0 to the Nebraska Cornhuskers at TCF Bank Stadium. The Gophers have only four first downs so far on the afternoon, and are 3-for-7on third down conversion attempts. They are driving now, however, as Gray just took one 29 yards to get the Gophers into Nebraska territory.
