Cornhuskers At Gophers: Nebraska Restores Order, Scores Again

The Nebraska Cornhuskers apparently got tired of going out on the field and not scoring, so they figured they'd score again on their most recent drive against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Starting out at their own 9-yard line after a penalty on the kickoff return, the Cornhuskers went back to their bread and butter. . .pounding the ball with the running game, as Rex Burkhead, Aaron Green, and Taylor Martinez all took turns carrying the rock for Nebraska. The Gophers had Nebraska in a couple of third down situations, but Martinez kept converting, finding Ben Cotton for 18 yards, and Khiry Cooper for 11 more to move the Huskers deeper into Gopher territory.

The drive concluded with a 4-yard touchdown run by Aaron Green, and just like that Nebraska was up by 34 again, 41-7.

We're nearly through three quarters of play on Homecoming afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium, and the Minnesota Golden Gophers are getting crushed by the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 41-7.
